My favorite way to describe what I do is to pretend I'm talking to my grandpa.
"Technology is hard. How many times a day do you run into a website, app, or interface that's too confusing to use? How many times does that result in you just giving up and trying another service? How many products are your favorites because of how easy to use they are?"
These questions are what inspire me to help lead UX Research into the forefront of business growth. As a current full time Sr. Associate User Researcher for Amica Insurance, I focus on how to make traditionally frustrating web and mobile experiences effortless.
With over five years of UX Research experience, I've held positions ranging from corporate to startup. My background in undergraduate formal UX training makes me a unique from other researchers; instead of having to learn on my own, I've learned directly from industry professionals who have helped me be one of a small class of highly trained and passionate young UX Researchers. I'm highly adaptable, thrive in environments where I can take on responsibility, and am always looking to learn more.
